KERIN PERFORMANCE DUBLIN
A specialist lower limb rehabilitation clinic focused on the assessment and rehabilitation of complex injuries in athletic populations. While much of Fearghal’s clinical and research work has centred around muscle injuries, he also regularly manages tendon pain, hip and groin injuries, and knee injuries.
INITIAL CONSULTATIONS

Initial consultations are suitable either as one-off second opinions or as the starting point for a structured rehabilitation process.
The aim of every initial consultation is to:
- take a detailed injury history
- perform a comprehensive clinical examination
- identify the likely diagnosis and explain the key contributing factors
- generate an individualised problem list
- develop an evidence-informed rehabilitation plan
Assessment may include objective testing using VALD technology, including:
- force plate jump testing
- isometric strength assessment
- NordBord hamstring testing
- ForceFrame assessment
- collaboration with existing medical and performance staff
Testing is carried out within our purpose-built BLK Box testing rig and is used to help guide rehabilitation planning and progression.
Following assessment, rehabilitation programmes are delivered through TeamBuildr software, including exercise videos, descriptions and ongoing progression. Where indicated, onward referral for imaging or specialist review with a sports medicine consultant or orthopaedic surgeon can also be arranged.
