We have been trusted by organisations and athletes competing in:
“Fearghal worked with me as I recovered from surgery, in a race to get fit in time for the Copa América. His expertise was crucial in helping me return fit, strong, and on time, and I was able to play my part as my country went on to win the tournament!”
Enzo Fernandez
Chelsea & Argentina Footballer, World Cup Winner
“I knew I couldn’t be in safer hands and more professional hands”
Paudie Clifford
Four Time All Star Gaelic Footballer
“Fearghal has had a huge influence on my rugby career. I used to struggle regularly with injuries, often missing months of each season.

Through his programming and guidance, Fearghal was able to get my body to a place where I could perform at my best.

While working with him, I achieved the best physical condition I’ve ever been in. During my rehab with Fearghal, I frequently returned to play well ahead of the timelines predicted by specialists. I attribute this to his expertise and programming, but most of all to how easy he was to work with. Fearghal made the long days of rehab and the hard work involved not only bearable but enjoyable.”

Alongside clinical work, Fearghal provides consultancy support to elite teams and athletes across professional football and international sport, with current and previous work involving organisations within the Premier League, NBA, and AFL.

QUESTIONS

1
1
Do I have to be an elite athlete to be reviewed by Fearghal?
Not at all. While Fearghal works with elite athletes and professional sports teams, most people through the door are amateur athletes and active individuals of all ages.
2
2
Does Fearghal work with injuries other than hamstrings?
Yes. While Fearghal is best known internationally for his work and research in hamstring muscle and tendon injuries, he regularly works with a wide range of lower limb conditions, including hip, groin, knee, calf and tendon-related problems. His specialist interest is lower limb rehabilitation, so he does not typically accept referrals for upper limb injuries or low back pain. Where appropriate, he is happy to direct people to trusted specialists in those areas.

What can I expect from an appointment?
The aim of an appointment is to establish an anatomical and functional diagnosis, and a rehabilitation plan. This typically involves a detailed review of your history, a physical assessment and, where appropriate, objective testing using VALD technology. These are then used to develop a problem list and agree on the next stage of management. Follow-up appointments follow a similar structure, with a review of progress, reassessment, testing where relevant, planning and rehabilitation progression.

4
What do I need to bring with me to an appointment?
Please bring any relevant MRI reports, consultant letters and existing rehabilitation plans. We would recommend wearing shorts, as a physical assessment is likely to form part of your appointment.
5
5
Can my physio or coach attend with me?
Absolutely. We are happy for physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, medical staff or family members to attend appointments where appropriate.
6
6
How are follow-up appointments arranged?
If you would like a follow-up appointment, this can be arranged at the end of your review. Alternatively, appointments can be booked through the website or requested by email. We do not routinely arrange follow-up appointments on behalf of clients without prior discussion.
7
7
If I have a query or need a new programme, how do I follow up?
For simple administrative questions or minor clarifications in the days after an appointment, email is usually the most appropriate route and we will do our best to help within a few days. However, if your symptoms have changed, you require a new programme, or more detailed input is needed, this is generally best managed through a follow-up appointment, often conducted virtually.

8
What are the clinic facilities?
