Fearghal Kerin

B.Sc., M.Sc, PhD

Dr. Fearghal Kerin is a chartered physiotherapist with extensive experience in elite sports. He has worked across Irish sports, including as Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at Leinster Rugby for nine seasons, before transitioning to Chelsea Football Club in the English Premier League, where he held the same position. At Chelsea, he worked with international athletes including Premier League, Champions League and World Cup winners.

Trusted and Respected Expert in Sports Rehabilitation

Fearghal holds a degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin, a Master’s in Sports Injury Rehabilitation from the University of Salford, and a PhD from University College Dublin, where his research focused on hamstring injuries in professional rugby.

His deep passion for helping athletes drives him, and he takes great satisfaction in following their progress post-return to play. Fearghal’s love for sports and his personal connection to the field fuel his dedication to advancing sports medicine.

Dr. Fearghal Kerin has built a reputation as a trusted and respected expert in sports rehabilitation. In addition to his clinical practice, he is dedicated to sharing his experience through speaking engagements, mentoring, and supporting other practitioners with complex cases.
